Client Objective:

Cottage Dental Care has done traditional media campaigns, paid online ads and SEO marketing on and off over the past years, with varying degrees of success. However, when Cottage Dental came to us with the idea of review generation and management for their current and new patients, 309 Marketing got to work to discover the right review management platform.

Cottage Dental Care is one of the premier dental offices in Bloomington, IL. Backed by their belief in Complete Health Dentistry (supporting the systematic link between the mouth and body), they offer an incredible amount of dental services for keeping your teeth bright and healthy. Some of those services include same-day crowns, partials, routine cleanings, bonding, extractions, root canals and more.

Our Plan:

In conjunction with a third-party review platform, we were able to get Cottage Dental up and running with a program meant to generate reviews with no action necessary on their end. We took Cottage Dental’s existing database of patients during the initial setup and plugged them into our review management software. From there, we integrated the program into their invoicing system. All customers receive an email and text (where applicable) asking if they would review their latest experience via Google, Facebook or direct messaging.
The Results:
Since implementing the review management software, Cottage Dental Care has seen a significant increase in reviews coming to its site.

  • From March 2021 (the implementation of review management) until July 2021, Total Dental’s Google Reviews went from 19 to 32, a 68% increase.
  • Review requests via email see over a 50% open rate.
  • Of the clients who opened review requests via text message, near half of them (48%) clicked through to leave a review.
  • In the four months (March to July) review management has been live, Total Dental has received a total of 28 new reviews between Google, Facebook and direct messaging.

Our Conclusion:

While our continued SEO and SEM campaigns continue to help Cottage Dental Care’s visibility on Google and throughout the web, the influx of new reviews has been one of the major drivers for increased viewing and traffic of their site and Google searches. And through our review management platform, requesting a new review from clients is as simple as entering their contact info and clicking a button.
